World Nomad Games Mas Wrestling Qualifier
What:
You are competing for the chance to represent Canada at the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan approximately September 2026 (exact dates have not yet been released). The winners of each of the weight classes will receive the paid sponsorship to cover travel costs of food and accommodations with potential for flights to be paid as well.
All others will gain competition experience and have a chance to showcase their skills. Paid international competitions are often offered without much notice, so athletes with more competition experience, technical skills, and strength will be considered first to receive future paid opportunities.
Special notes:
The qualifier is free of cost.
You may weigh-in 7% above your weight class, as long as you can weigh-in under your chosen weight class in September, 2026. *Open classes are exempt from weigh-ins*.
This competition qualifies athletes to compete at the World Nomad Games which will only have 3 weight classes for each gender, (Men: <70, <90, >90. Women: <55,<75, >75). You are encouraged to compete at the qualifier despite the lack of the usual divisions.

Who:
Everyone is encouraged to compete in the qualifier but only Canadian Citizens are able to represent Canada at the World Nomad Games.
