Spruce Groves Strongest - 2024

The Events are as follows:

Event 1. Seated Pull. Similar in weight to last year.
Women: Dodge 5500 with weight in the Bed
Men: Single Axle dump truck with weight in the Bed

 

Event 2. Axle Medley. First 2 axles must be lifted in order, 3rd axle will be done for reps if able, Clean and press every rep.
Women: 75lbs, 110lbs, 130lbs for reps
Men: 185lbs, 225lbs, 265lbs for reps

 

Event 3. Husafell Carry for max distance. We will be using Pylons and tape to Mark out the approximate shape of the ORIGINAL GOAT PEN this event is named after in Husafell, Iceland. Max distance, no time limit, Dropping ends your attempt. We receive the Husafell bags shortly and will update once they're filled and tested. We want this to be quite difficult, and results ranging from 2ft to 2 laps.
Women: Approx 170lbs
Men: Approx 300lbs.

 

Event 4. Bag Toss. Similar to last year, we will be using the large uprights. bag must go over the crossbar. 3 throws per weight max.
Women: 20 25 30 35 40 over 11ft
Men: 30 35 40 45 50 over 14ft

 

Event 5. Classic Atlas Stone Series. Stones increase in weight as tables decrease in height. Womens height decreased from 2023.
Women: 140 170 180 200 220. First to 54", 2@ 50", 2@ 46"
Men: 220 250 285* 300* 320* to 62", 58", 54", 50", 46"
